Biography

In 1999, Carl Rosenstein produced an extensive photograph exhibit at Fordham University documenting Art deco-style buildings along the Grand Concourse in The Bronx. The exhibit was titled "Art Deco of the Grand Concourse." He was also involved in the landmarking of the lower portion of the Grand Concourse, together with borough president Fernando Ferrer.

Description/Scope and Content

This collection comprises digital and physical materials from Rosenstein's exhibit, as well as physical notes and clippings about the landmarking of the Grand Concourse and Art deco architecture.

Materials in this collection were donated to the Society in April 2021 by Carl Rosenstein.
